DAVID ČERNÝ DAVID

This commercial object was primarily created for the exhibition at Salone de Mobile 2016 for the installation of the AAAD glass studio. The priority of the work was to design an object corresponding with the displayed glass objects with a link to the university itself. This object is made of two parts. The first being a glass case with a metal seal and a coal fixed to the seal. The seal can be opened and removed with the help of the coal. The coal is a symbol that represents all of the studios at AAAD because every design begins with a drawing whether it's the design of fine or applied art.
