DAVID ČERNÝ DAVID

Navel is a carafe set for water with a volume of 1 liter and a 400ml glass. I designed a simple compact shape with unobtrusive details. The glass can be placed on the head of the carafe and sits perfectly thanks to the convex base of both parts of the set. The convex base of the carafe is produced by heating and then sucking the air backwards from the iron tool used while blowing glass. This technique prevents defects from appearing on the base of the glass.
